Life Goals and Skills Online-COOKING (Mediterranean)
Event Information
About this Event
Cooking is a lifelong skill!
You can eat well, entertain family and friends and have fun. So please come and join us in this Saturday afternoon cooking session.
Here's what we will be up to in February!
6th February - Entree - Gozleme
13th February - Main - Kofta Skewers
20th February - Vanilla Custard Pastry
Important: If you are not familiar with cooking and using the various appliances in the kitchen please make sure that an adult is available to help out.
You will need to have your laptop or tablet set up so that you can join in the session and cook along side the instructor.
Be sure to cover any equipment so that it doesn't get covered in custard!!
The session will be moderated by a Hear For You Staff member or Mentor.
Once you have registered, we will then email you a Zoom Invite, Recipe and any other details that you might need to know about to cook up a storm.
Why Cook: it is a handy life skill to:
- enable your independence post school,
- entertain your family and friends (what better way to build friendships than your amazing cooking of food),
- deaf people usually end up being amazing cooks.
If you have any questions please email onlineprograms@hearforyou.com.au
