Chiara Priorelli is the Acquisitions Manager at Wavesound, Australia’s leading independent audiobook publisher - and home to some of the biggest Australia authors including Christian White, Chris Hammer, Garry Disher, Craig Silvey, Fleur MacDonald and Maya Linnell. She previous worked at HarperCollins Publishers and the small independent Allison & Busby in the UK before joining Wavesound and heading up the all-Australian Wavesound audio list. Her role is to select and buy the rights to the best local titles across fiction and non-fiction genres in order to publish them in audio and she works closely with the studios, authors and publisher in the creative production, including casting the right narrators for the book.
