Come along and join us for Movies After Dark at Springvale Library. Relax with a free cuppa or a snack and enjoy a movie from our Kanopy streaming collection.
A different movie will be screened each session.
Thursday 18 March: 'Lion' (PG)
This Oscar-nominated family drama tells the story of Saroo, a young boy who gets lost on a train which takes him thousands of miles across India, away from home and family. Saroo must learn to survive alone in Kolkata, before ultimately being adopted by an Australian couple. Twenty-five years later, armed with only a handful of memories, his unwavering determination, and a revolutionary technology known as Google Earth, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home.
This event is part of Libraries After Dark, which is designed for ages 16+.
