Join the team behind the LGBTIQ Legal Service to discuss legal need in the LGBTIQ+ community and what we've learnt in the last two years
About this event
In March 2018, the LGBTIQ Legal Service began as a partnership between St Kilda Legal Service and Thorne Harbour Health (formerly VIC AIDS Council) with funding from the Victoria Law Foundation. The team have developed a report on legal need in the Victorian LGBTIQ population to support policy makers in better understanding and meeting the needs of those communities in the future. This report is informed by the experiences of the LGBTIQ Legal Service, a pilot project and health justice partnership of St Kilda Legal Service and Thorne Harbour Health, and the experiences of our clients.
