Join us at Beelarong Community Farm just 7kms from the Brisbane CBD to see the growing of organic, chemical free food in a wonderful sustainable farming environment.

There are compost and worm farms, a cob oven, raised garden beds, compost tumblers and grass bays, rainwater tanks and solar panels, seed bank, herb spiral, insect hotel and native bees.

The 4000 m2 Beelarong Community Farm attracts people who continually bring to the farm their valuable knowledge of sustainability issues.

There will be a tour at 9.30am followed by morning tea and a plant swap.

Please bring along:

• any excess produce you would like to swap

• your own morning tea

• a hat

• an umbrella in case it rains

• a small folding chair

• a mug and plate

We will be encouraging physical distancing at the event:

• keep 1.5 metres away from others wherever possible

• practise good hygiene

• please stay at home if you have any cold or flu symptoms
