Let's talk Filters
Event Information
About this Event
Since its conception photographers have used filters to control how B&W and colour images are recorded. In that time there has been an awful lot of misinformation put into print and posted on the web. Sorting out the myths from facts is very difficult.
Seeing is believing and participants in this session will get to view the effects directly and have explained what it is they are actually viewing.
Some of the topics covered will be:
- What filters are
- How some of them are made
- The terms that photographers use or should use and what they mean
- Basic sensitometry
- How to previsualize the effects filters will have
- Determining the best filters to use for the desired result
- Colour temperature
- Viewing finished work that would not have been achievable without the use of filters
Refreshments are included in the price.
