Our local Superstar Leon Stensholm hosts a panel of local advocates for boys' and men's local mental health and fitness. Our panel will share their own stories, offer support to our audience as we open the panel up for discussions around our featured topic. In these uncertain times, supporting good mental health should be a priority and we hope this community chat will help support, you, your friends family or just give you some needed information.
This event is open to anyone of mature age, males and females alike.

PT, Mental Health Advocate, Counsellor, Twice Author, Winner Community Leadership Award 2021.
Leon Stensholm started bodybuilding in 2001 after suffering a number of injuries that would end his promising soccer career. It quickly transpired that what Leon lacked in muscle, was made up for in spades by the sheer grit and determination he focussed on his new sport.
Committed to natural bodybuilding Leon has now been participating in the sport for the past 20 years with multiple Australian and Australasia titles to his name. In 2021 was awarded IFBB Mr Australia u70’s" and Runner-Up in "Masters 40+" for his efforts.
Leon has competed over 70 times and has coached hundreds of clients who have gone on to win over 100 first places with multiple pro cards awarded.His awards are not restricted to bodybuilding and in August 2021 he was awarded The Sunshine Coast Leadership award at the annual Sunshine Coast Community Gala Awards.
Following the suicide of his best mate and brother Dean, Leon decided to pursue his dreams and founded Bodybyleon Coaching and Personal Training in 2013. So committed to helping people to transform their body and mind Leon has also completed a Diploma in Counselling and written his first book, ‘It`s How You Think’ which was updated and reprinted in 2021. His next book, "60 days to mindfulness" will be released in late 2021.
Leon operates from his gym where he trains, mentors and coaches clients, in one on one sessions that are individually designed for each client and completely private. These closed training sessions are perfect for sports athletes and clients with public profiles seeking privacy and confidentiality when working out.
Leon works with a wide range of clients, all with their own unique goals, from professional athletes, to everyday people looking to achieve their personal health goals. Leon is particularly passionate about working with those who suffer from mental health concerns and gives his time freely to work in the community on suicide prevention, as part of The Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
In order to get the best out of people, Leon uses cognitive behavioural therapy methods and provides a framework in which they can work towards achieving goals and transform their life.
Leon is a passionate, energetic speaker whose enthusiasm and love for life is incredibly contagious. He engages and connects easily with all types of people and leaves his audiences energised and motivated.

JAXON TIPPET
Jaxon is a 27 year old, Model, online coach, and podcast host of the "I am me" podcast with around 160k following.
Jaxon's passion is helping others reach their fullest potential through mindset and knowing their own capabilities. Jaxon is also a huge advocate of mental health knowing it’s something most of us suffer in some way during our lives, including himself. He promotes that we all need to be open and speak out more so people realise we are not all perfect.
MURRAY BENTON
At age 27, Murray Benton is the manager of a Community Crisis Youth Service specialising in first response, emergency relief and homelessness with young people. Murray is also known throughout the sector for his nationally recognised youth anti-bullying and mental health campaign called the Good Fight Australia back in 2018.
JAMES HILL
James Hill is an award-winning mental health advocate and speaker for Beyondbue. Using his own lived experience and formal mental health education he has been recognised for making significant improvements to mental health in workplaces and communities.

His style of direct coaching and teaching from what he is implementing in his own life, has been the drawcard for 1000's of men across the planet, in Blase's online programs, 3- day retreats, workshops and, various men's circles.

Blase is also a 2019 nominee, Sunshine Coast Australia Day Award for Citizen of The Year, 2019, for his dedication to "Men's Work"
