Let's Take Over 2021
Event Information
About this Event
What does the next generation of art look like?
Darebin City Council gave ten emerging artists aged 15-25 the keys to Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre. They’re taking over and bringing you something you’ll never forget. Experience their participatory artworks—from questions about perspective, colonisation, language, climate anxiety, mental health, gender and what it’s like to be a teen in 2021. You’ll witness everything from film, performance, poetry, grocery shopping—heck, you might even be able to do some laundry!
Brought to you by Amarachi Okorom, Anna Charalambous, Casper Plum, Elijah Eastley, Guy Ritani, Kenita Bush, Lauren Rosenberg, Lulu Fitz, Michaela Mulenga and Rhoda Makur.
Wheelchair accessible. Limited time only, 19th and 20th February 2021. Bookings essential. Free and open to all ages.
Saturday 20 Feb 7:45pm – 9:45pm will be Auslan interpreted.
