Lets create Memories Mixed Media Abstract Art with Sonia Farrell

Book your place now. Sonia will guide you through all the steps in achieving a dynamic original artwork. The focus of this workshop is to learn techniques to create your own mixed media artwork: including textured watercolour background, embedding objects with modelling paste, stamping and stencilling, and palette knife painting.

We all seem to have the drawer or box that holds trinkets and bits and pieces that are special to us... mementos - things like jewellery, buttons, souvenirs from travels, keepsakes such as cards and photos from/of loved ones. *At this art workshop we encourage you to bring some of these special items to embed and make part of your artwork.

If you wish - you can include decorative pegs (supplied) which provides a place to temporarily hang special notes and reminders.

Meet at Sonia's Art Studio in Worongary in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Includes all art materials - although we encourage you to bring along some special keepsakes/mementos as mentioned above* . Arrive 15 minutes before the activity starts - Arrive 12.20pm for 12.30pm start. Runs to approximately 4.15pm
