Description
LEGO® Together is a social skills based program for school-aged children (5-8 year olds) based around collaborative LEGO® play.
This approach promotes social interaction, turn-taking skills, sharing, collaborative problem-solving and the learning of concepts. It also encourages children to be self-reflective and to give constructive comments and feedback to peers.
This group is suitable for children whose goals include:
- Play and social communication
- Expressive and receptive language
- Fine motor skills
This group is for children in Kindergarten to Year 3 (5-8 year olds).
Register your Expession of Interest. You will then be contacted after the 22nd January to discuss this program and confirm your attendance.
WHEN AND WHERE
- From Tuesday 6th February to Tuesday 27th March; 4pm to 5pm at Plumtree
- The group will run for 8 weeks
COST
The total cost of this group is $643.81
This can be purchased with FaCHSIA funding (HCWA or Better Start), NDIS Funding, Private Health Insurance, Medicare (Care Plan, Better Mental Health Plan) or purchased privately.
