Description

Worried about the upcoming Clerkship? Need to brush up on your legal research skills before you step into a law firm for the first time? The Deakin Law Students Society Geelong, are proud to offer ‘Legal Research Workshops’ to help equip students with some of the practical research skills that will assist them in the industry!

We are privileged to have on board Law Librarian, Michelle Bendall, in conjunction with Helen Wood to answer all of your burning questions and to assist you in further developing the skills you have acquired throughout your degree.

While targeted towards the particular needs of penultimate and final year students, those from all year levels as well as off campus students are welcome to attend!

Session 1 will be held at the Deakin Waterfront Campus Library – Training Room (Computer Lab) from 11.00am till 1.00pm

Students are required to bring their own personal computer, or handheld device (i.e iPad) with internet connectivity to participate in the program – however, there will be a limited number of PC’s available to use for Session 1 only.
