Description
The Muslim Legal Network invites you to the inaugural Legal Profession Iftar Dinner.
The Iftar dinner is held during the Islamic lunar month of Ramadan, a month in which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. The event provides an opportunity for legal practitioners to network and share in a meal to mark the breaking of a fast.
Our keynote speaker for the night is His Honour the Chief Magistrate of Victoria Peter Lauritsen.Her Honour Magistrate Urfa Masood, who is the first Muslim Magistrate of Victoria, will be a special guest at this event.
Our distinguished guests include:
- Mr Peter Sapountsis, President of the Law Institute of Victoria
- Mr Andrew K Panna QC, President of the Hellenic Lawyers Association
- Mr Reynah Tang, President of AALA and former President of the LIV.
We invite all members of the legal fraternity, legal academics, law students and the judiciary to join us at this special event.
