Event description

Description

*Please note this workshop is designed for for families and friends of people with BPD - not workers

This one day workshop for families, friends and others who support someone with BPD (or a likely diagnosis of BPD) provides information about BPD and how to best support the person whilst still caring for yourselves. The group will explore a number of educational and practical approaches to learning new skills in the context of a safe environment amongst other carers.

All attendees will be invited to participate in a study to evaluate the effectiveness of the workshops. This will involve answering some questions about your knowledge of BPD and the impact of your caring role on your well-being. Further information about this will be sent to prior to the workshop. Research participation is entirely voluntary. However information gained will be helpful for Spectrum in ensuring the support we provide to carers is as helpful as possible.
