About this event
This course is suitable for beginners and people wanting to return to meditation. The meditation styles taught are non-religious and suitable for people from all cultural backgrounds.
This 6 week course (6 x 1hour classes) will run weekly, and students will not only learn to meditate but also about the cause and effect of stress, physiological benefits of correct and simple breathing techniques, as well as a variety meditations styles for muscle relaxation and health and wellbeing.
All classes will be conducted online via zoom so you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home!!! My meditations are recorded and will be shared with you so that you can continue practicing outside of class and really create positive ripple effects.
At the end of this course students should feel comfortable and confident about practicing meditation and have a good understanding of the importance of diaphragmatic breathing, the fight or flight reaction, understand their own stress responses and be able to disengage from a stress response fairly quickly.
At completion of this course there should have noticeable improvements in your daily life through the regular practice of Meditation and other tools provided.
About The Teacher:
Naomi is a certified Meditation Teacher, Breathwork facilitator, Reiki Practitioner and Holistic Wellness Coach. Her passion is to help others to create more health, happiness and joy in life.
