Event description
Be guided by local artist, Kaz Pedersen, in this art class with a difference.

About this Event

To celebrate the Adelaide Shorebird and Dolphin Festival, the Port Environment Centre invites you to an exclusive, small group, adult art class.

Under the expert guidance of local artist and art teacher, Kaz Pedersen, learn to draw our local birds.

With the International Bird Sanctuary on our doorstep, we are surrounded by fabulous bird life. The lesson will feature birds of the region, including our recent shore bird arrivals.

Learn about these birds and their environment, whilst learning new drawing and observation skills in this graphite drawing class.

All materials will be supplied and you will go home with a graphite pencil set, spare paper and your new art work.

Booking must be made by Monday 18 November.

This is an adult drawing class and suitable for all: from beginners to those with more drawing experience (15 years and older).

So please join us, gain a greater appreciation of our local birds and the skills and confidence to draw them.

Please note that the Port Environment Centre building does not have accessible toilets for persons with a disability. Please don't hesitate to contact the coordinator (hello@portenvironmentcentre.org.au) if you would like more information about accessibility at the Port Environment Centre.

The Port Environment Centre is supported by the Adelaide Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board.
