Before you head to the farms for the Harvest Festival join in a sustainable cooking workshop to learn how to pickle fresh fruit and vegetables with Alex Elliott-Howery from Cornersmith.
In this 1-hour virtual workshop, you will learn two different methods of pickling: a base pickling recipe for filling up your pantry with seasonal pickled fruits and vegetables, plus Cornersmith's waste hack quick pickle recipe to use up the odds and ends in your fridge.
Alex will also take you through sterilisation, heat processing and all the essential safety information for pickling at home. There'll be plenty of time for questions, and you will leave with the confidence to pickle anything.
This event will be held over Zoom. An email will be sent to registered attendees with the Zoom link and recipe cards so you can join in at home.
