Learn about monitoring Hooded Plovers

A fun day welcoming all people, particularly first time bird watchers, to meet the BirdLife Australia presenter and learn more about beach-nesting birds on Eyre Peninsula.
Presentations during the morning.
Learn how to you can participate in the BirdLife Australia’s Beach-nesting Birds project and share ways to educate other beach users.
Field trip in the afternoon to a nearby beach.
Together we will share a guided beach walk, learn more about resident shorebirds, identify different animal tracks and have a closer look at native plants and weeds along the way.
Some car-pooling will be available. Please let us know in advance if you require a seat.
This is a catered event. Please get in touch with us if you have any specific dietary requirements.
