Leading with Integrity

This 3-hour virtual training will build practitioner confidence, in applying evidence based informed judgement when developing professional opinion and recommendations that promote safety, dignity and minimise the use of restrictive practices. 

After attending this training participants will be able to: 

• Apply ethical and evidence-informed reasoning to develop professional opinions that align with positive behaviour support and human rights principles. 

• Critically analyse behavioural information and risk data to inform sound, defensible decisions regarding restrictive practices. 

• Develop clear, well-documented professional opinions that communicate rationale, uphold transparency, and support best-practice implementation. 

• Reflect on and evaluate personal practice to strengthen professional judgement, accountability, and continuous improvement in reducing restrictive practices. 

This course will be delivered via Zoom; it will not be recorded.

• A copy of the presentation  

• A certificate post event training
