Leading Mathematics at your Primary School: Strategies and Tools

Anita's unique team-based conferences provide a time and place for educators to engage in professional dialogue about the art of teaching and learning mathematics and to strategically plan for a sustainable whole-school approach to mathematics.


  1. Get your team together, decide who is going.
  2. Download and print the two Registration Planning Sheets here.
  3. Call a 5-minute team meeting to agree who’s going to which session. Make a note on your Registration Planning Sheets.
  4. Nominate one person to register everyone’s details and organise payment for the whole school team, and click register.

Who will attend?

This is a school team-based conference. Schools are encouraged to send a team of up to five educators, however, individual delegates may still attend as it will be a wonderful networking opportunity with up to 200 delegates in attendance. For larger school teams, please contact Anita. Your school team could include the following educators:

  • Numeracy / Mathematics Coordinator
  • Instructional Leaders
  • Deputy / Assistant Principals
  • Heads of Curriculum
  • Principals

  • delegates pre-selecting their workshops to attend depending on their role at school

  • joining colleagues who share your commitment to transforming teachers into confident, inspired mathematics educators.
