It is no longer the day of the first, the fastest and the fearless. Great leaders are reshaping the leadership paradigm, understanding that the key to ongoing success is a robust culture that inspires and supports its people to work together towards a common purpose.
Big business, regulators and organisations of all shapes and sizes are progressively turning their attention to culture – the network of shared practices and beliefs that define behaviour and the way things are done in an organisation. Underpinning the superstructure of culture are ethical foundations. These are the values and principles that guide people’s everyday choices – the decisions upon which culture grows.
Leadership styles vary greatly, but the most effective leaders are willing and able to preserve and enhance these foundations – often at great personal cost. Our Leading Edge series of intimate events explores the experiences of today’s leaders and how they have managed the intersection of culture and ethics when faced with the myriad challenges of business.
Join The Ethics Centre’s Executive Director Dr Simon Longstaff in conversation as we explore innovative leadership, cultural transformation and leading with edge and integrity in a complex world. The audience is invited to engage directly with the speakers in a Q&A and join us for a pre and post-event drink.
Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.
