Connecting leaders with the future and each other
Change is inevitable, pervasive, and accelerating. From the way we conduct commerce to the way we communicate, fundamental shifts are taking place on all levels of society and business. The architecture, engineering, and construction industry is by no means immune.
This coming July, the Design Futures Council will convene leaders in disruption who are innovating to change the world: from those who develop and finance leading technologies, to those who are creating new business models that could challenge the fundamentals and long-held assumptions in the practice and business of A/E/C. The event promises to not only help you better understand the changes that are coming, but also to prepare your organisation to thrive in a dynamic new environment.
The 2019 Summit theme is First Movers. In this summit we will explore the culture, technology and strategy behind the emerging first movers within rapidly adapting the built environment.
Cocktail Function
This is a 25 year old tradition of the Design Futures Council. Join us for a canape, a wine and good conversation with colleagues. This activity ensures attendees get the most from their participation in the Summit.
The growth in PropTech investment is staggering, with predictions that by 2020 global investment in PropTech will increase to $20 billion. Australia, with our world leading expertise and entrepreneurial flair, is now attracting a flow of capital and funding for PropTech innovation.
Design Futures Council has organised a selection of local PropTech start ups for showcase at the cocktail function. Some of the individuals leading these companies may have very well previously worked for your firm.
