Leadership & Resilience for better human performance
Event Information
About this event
You don’t have to go through extreme trauma to experience what it’s like to be resilient!
Would you agree?
Resilience has many meanings, yes it can be traumatic events like illnesses, loss and abuse but it can also be day to day challenges like someone saying something to you that you didn’t like, having to get up early, not getting a goods night sleep and the mental battle to exercise everyday :)
Mental health is far more common in today’s world than it ever has been. Just because we don’t see the mental challenges how we would with physical challenges it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist for people.
I am here to have an open discussion on the importance of doing your deep inner work. Whether you like to hear it or not; we’ve all got our own demons. So, let’s normalise the conversation so we can be the best operating human we can be for ourselves but more importantly those around us.
In this workshop you will learn how to:
- deal with good and bad stress
- overcome resilience
- be a stand out leader in your community
- give your training experience a healthy purpose
“My mission is to end the cycle of domestic violence in Australia. To achieve this, I will continue to share lessons from my own background to empower others to take ownership of their lives. With the right plan and support network in place, people are free to embrace the journey and live a life of passion, happiness and love.”
Growing up in the shadow of domestic violence, Darcia was able to break free of the tragic cycle and forge her own path. Today, Darcia is a renowned personality in the fitness industry, with more than 10 years’ experience as a trainer, author, coach and athlete on the world stage. Darcia believes her experiences—how they influenced her life and how she ultimately overcame them— have given her the strength to share her story. Her mission is to help people in similar situations find their voice and start taking ownership of their lives, with the aim of ending the cycle of domestic violence forever.
