David Thodey AO is one of the most influential business leaders in Australia, perhaps best known for the incredible customer-centric transformation during his leadership as the CEO of Telstra.

David is a passionate advocate of a new leadership paradigm that's essential if we are to succeed in this connected world. He believes that the future is not about charismatic leaders, it is about authentic leadership and transparent management.

The shift is already happening in many great companies - from hierarchical to thought based leadership; from rules based companies to values based companies; from compliance to trust and enablement. This is a fundamental change in the way we lead.

Please join us to listen to David share his leadership lessons accumulated over his distinguished career.

About David Thodey AO:

David Thodey is a business leader focused on innovation, technology and telecommunications with more than 40 years of experience.

He is currently Chairman of Australia’s national scientific research agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO); Tyro, Australia’s only independent EFTPOS banking institution; and Xero, a cloud-based accounting software provider for small and medium-sized businesses.
