Event Details

About the event:

We invite you to join other Leaders for a breakfast and a valuable ‘health check’ on your company ambition and how to ensure the required Sales and Business Development performance to achieve it.

If Sales Training were the cure, we would not have businesses small and large frustrated with Sale & Business Development constantly being the least productive and least accountable area of the business. Sales Training addresses the ‘symptoms’, not the ‘core’ age-old problem.

So if you are tired of missed targets and unachieved goals come along and find out how to transform your team's capability and performance and get a sustainable competitive advantage within the most important engine in your business - Sales & Business Development

What you will take out of this Leaders Breakfast Forum:

– What is the 'core' age-old problem with sales and the symptoms that present in your business

– Why Sales Training does not fix the core problem

– The role of the CEO and the organisation itself in fixing the core problem

– How do you fix the problem and transform capabilities within your Company for consistent performance

**There are a limited number of spots available **

The ticket is available to purchase at the bottom of this page.

About the speaker:

Tony McGinn founded his media business at age 22. Over 33 years under his leadership, the organisation grew to operate three businesses with 150 staff covering six offices across Australia, Europe and Asia. All three companies shared a common denominator; they were B2B sales driven businesses. In 2007 he listed his MCM Entertainment Group Ltd on the ASX via an IPO. Tony sold his business in 2016 and decided to ‘step change’ his life.

That change saw Tony launch The McGinn Partnership; a firm focused on fixing an age-old problem for business. This problem was Tony’s biggest frustration over more than three decades in his businesses, and in most of the companies he was working with around the world; the problem of productivity and accountability in Sales & Business Development.

Drawing on his extensive first-hand experience of working with many different international ‘Sales Training’ resources over past years, Tony spent all of 2017 deep in research and engagement with business leaders, educators and sales and BD teams seeking the solution that would address the ‘cause’ of the problem, not just the symptoms.

The McGinn Partnership have developed a holistic Performance Protocol™ for Sales and Businesses Development that transforms the capability and performance of Sales and Business Development teams.

The McGinn Partnership services B2B SMEs with Sales & Marketing teams from 5 to 100+ and works in all states and territories. The firm is industry agnostic & includes BD transformation for Professional Services organisations.

A highly successful leader who built and ran a business that thrived and expanded in the competitive media industry, Tony brings unique and new insights to the Sales and Business Development challenge, insights from his deep experience through the lens of the CEO.

Tony was awarded an Order of Australia OAM for founding and building over a decade the benchmark fundraising event The Million Dollar Lunch™ for Children’s Cancer Foundation. The event has raised over $17.5 million to date.

Tony is also a Melbourne Chair of The Executive Connection facilitating a mentoring peer group of SME CEOs
