FAQ

How many people does the ticket cost cover?

There are 2 packages available, either $255 for 3 people or $340 for 4 people. Each package equates to $85 per person and is jam packed with value as each package includes everything listed above.

Is the event for over 18s?

Le Petit Picnic is a strictly over 18s event – valid photo ID will be required for entry.

Do we need to show tickets to gain entry?

You will need your ticket with you to attend Le Petit Picnic. Tickets can be shown as a print out or on screen. If you lose your ticket or present a damaged ticket, you may not be allowed entry to the event. We ask that groups arrive together where possible.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket doesn’t match the person who attends?

Guest names registered on purchase of tickets must match the photo ID presented as all names will be checked off a guest list. For any name changes please email the request to bonjour@lepetitpicnic.com at least 2 working days prior to the event date.

Is it possible to get a refund?

No, sorry. Once the ticket sale is processed the purchase is final. Refunds will only be offered to patrons if the entire event is canceled or abandoned due to extreme weather conditions.

What are the conditions of entry?

All bags are subject to safety and security search upon entry. Any prohibited items will be confiscated.

What to bring?

Not a lot as we’ll take care of all the nitty gritty for you. We’ll provide everything from a picnic hamper for groups of 3 or 4, a picnic rug, a boules set for your group to take home, rosé service all day and good times. Sunscreen and insect repellent will be available onsite – so all you need to bring is you, your friends, dancing shoes and a good attitude – we’ll do the rest.

What not to bring?

Alcohol, glassware, metal cutlery, folding chairs, beach umbrellas, bad attitude or fury friends (bearded men allowed but sorry – not pets).

What about the weather?

Rain, hail or shine the picnic must go on. Just remember to dress accordingly. If the sun is shining wear a hat – there are shading spots to provide relief from the heat. If it’s raining on our parade bring your umbrella, jacket or poncho. In the event of rain marquees will be set up to provide shelter.

Can we BYO drinks?

Le Petit Picnic is strictly no BYO alcohol or soft drinks. The event is fully licensed and catered for, therefore there is no need bring glassware or glass bottles, as outside glass are not allowed on site. Drink service is permitted to all ticket holders wearing a wristband. An afternoon of Rosé? Oui please!

Can we BYO food?

There will be an abundance of food included in your ticket so there’s no need to bring any – we’ve got you covered. Should you have any dietary requirements please email bonjour@lepetitpicnic.com

Is there wheelchair access?

Le Petit Picnic is wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs, and there are disabled toilets on site.

Is parking available?

Parking is available but limited – we recommend arranging a taxi/rideshare, so you can enjoy the day and get to and from the picnic safely.

Can I use public transport?

Train: The closest train stations are Martin Place and Circular Quay station.

Bus: #441 runs from Circular Quay to the Art Gallery of NSW.

What’s the best access point?

Conservatorium Gate is the best access point which will be clearly marked with signage for Le Petit Picnic.

Will there be photographers at the event?

Yes, photographers will be present. Please note that you may get photographed on the day and this photography may be used for media purposes by Jacobs Creek. If you do not want your photograph taken please make our staff aware on the day.

Can I smoke?

Smoking is not permitted in the Rose Garden Pavilion. All cigarette butts must be placed in the receptacles provided.

What is the drugs / Unsocial behavior / Fair Play policy?

To promote a positive and safe atmosphere, we ask that all patrons accept responsibility for their own behavior and follow the rules and regulations of the event site. Additionally, patrons are required to respect the directions of event staff and Security Personnel at all times in the interest of patron safety. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove from the premises any patron who is believed to be intoxicated, or under the influence of any non-prescribed drugs.
