Le Cordon Bleu Professional Food Writing Workshop (5 days)
Sun., 30/04/2017, 9:00 am – Thu., 04/05/2017, 6:00 pm ACST
If you have an appetite for food and wine writing, Le Cordon Bleu is offering an exclusive taste of Tasting Australia by becoming part of the media corps. A five-day course run by experienced food and wine journalist David Sly will cover a busy program of events and the chance to interview key chefs, winemakers and identities involved in the festival. Have your stories published online and receive invaluable feedback to master narrative structure, develop news sense and apply editing techniques across three distinct disciplines of writing – reportage, opinion and review.
11 hours of tuition, comprising lectures and guest speakers, writing workshops and editing coaching sessions, from Sunday 30 April – Thursday 4 May 2017 and includes a ticket to Josh Niland, Analiese Gregory and Karena Armstrong in the Glasshouse Kitchen on Monday 1st May.
You'll also have a chance to have a meet and greet with one of the featured local chefs cooking on the night and enjoy some drinks and nibbles during the Certificate presentation at the conclusion of Day 5.
Please note: Classes will be held in the Adelaide CBD each morning from 9am followed by the chance to cover various events and then submit articles each afternoon. Students can aim to be finished by approximately 5-5:30pm each day
