LCE Japan Night

Join us for a celebration of Japanese Culture on Friday the 27th of May, from 5.30pm – 8:30pm in the Eclipse Room, Level 4 Union House, The University of Adelaide.

You will be able to experience Japanese culture through presentations from Cultural Ambassadors in various areas, fun and engaging activities, and Japanese food! Be immersed in the rich culture of Japan, meet old friends, and make new ones at the International Student Support’s fourth Language and Cultural Engagement (LCE) night of the year!

The event is free for all University of Adelaide students and includes dinner, as well as plenty of Japanese iconic food to try. LCE gives you a golden opportunity to experience unique cultures with a different country theme each time and you will get to take home some precious knowledge about the country and culture with plenty of fun!

Doors will open at 5:30pm sharp to those with tickets. Please arrive no later than 6.00pm for ticket holders as otherwise tickets may be transferred to others. For wait list or individuals without tickets, doors will open at 5:50pm – though the entrance is not guaranteed if the venue is full, so make sure to get your tickets while you can! Door will close at 6.10pm sharp. If you have any concerns, please let us know.

You can register for a general admission ticket if you are certain of your attendance on Friday 27th May from 5.30pm - 8.30pm. On the other hand, if you are unsure of your attendance, you can register for a wait list ticket, which allow you to enter if the event has not reached its capacity.

IMPORTANT: If you are no longer able to make it to the event, please cancel your ticket or inform us via email at least two days before the event. Failure to do so will blacklist you from attending future events. We hope everyone appreciates the ticket to attend - if you could not come, please give the opportunity to someone else to experience the culture.
