LaunchVic EOY Event: 'Scaling Up'
LaunchVic is delighted to invite you to join us at our final community event for 2019.
We are thrilled to bring together three esteemed leaders in conversation, to reflect on the ecosystem’s achievements of 2019, explore what 2020 has in store, and unearth their vision and advice for founders in pursuit of globalisation.
The evening will provide an opportunity for you to engage with your amazing Victorian startup community.

James Tynan
James is the CEO of Startmate, a seed fund and accelerator that brings together the best people in Australian startups to support the next wave of founders. James recently returned from the US where his most recent gig was helping scale Khan Academy from YouTube success to the biggest ed-tech organization in the world.

Jodie Imam
Jodie is passionate about helping businesses start and grow and is currently the General Manager at SBE Australia, Co-founder of Melbourne co-working space depo8, Melbourne ambassador for Innovation Bay and mentor at Startmate. At SBE Australia Jodie leads her team in supporting some of Australia's most innovative female leaders.

Spent nine years as the General Manager for leading Australian fashion designer Leona Edmiston, where she oversaw strong business growth.

Rohan Workman
Rohan is the Co-founder and CEO of Skalata Ventures and has been an integral part of the Australian startup ecosystem for nearly a decade as a company founder, director and advisor.

Previously, he was the Founding Director of the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP) at the University of Melbourne which, under his leadership, was ranked the 8th best program of its kind globally.

Co-founder and director of RosterCloud (acquired 2016), which provides HR management software to events companies.

Started his career at a boutique corporate advisory firm where he gained experience across a number of industries including telecommunications, agriculture, retail and property.

A graduate of the Australian American Young Leadership Dialogue and a former member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
