Description

Meaningful Ageing Australia are excited to announce the launch of our new e-modules for the 'Spiritual Care: An integaral Part of Caring' and 'ConnecTo Spiritual Screening Tool' training.

The e-modules streamline training for organisations and their staff and volunteers.

In Spiritual Care – An integral part of caring, staff can learn at their own pace, engaging with the concepts of spirituality and spiritual care to build confidence in offering spiritual care in their day to day activities. This content is an abridged version of our 45-minute face to face orientation program.

Deepen your team’s knowledge and practice through the ConnecTo Spiritual Screening Tool e-module. This e-module introduces spiritual screening and assessment concepts and invites the learner to participate in real life conversations to integrate their learning. A great way to introduce the ideas of our popular ConnecTo tool, the e-module forms the first part of training in ConnecTo, which also includes a face to face learning component. The full face to face program is available as a hard copy resource for our members.

The e-modules offer a range of features and benefits:

  1. Content is presented as text, audio, video, image, and interactive activities, including scenarios
  2. Quizzes check learning throughout
  3. A treasure hunt takes participants from the screen to real life conversations to enable integrated learning (ConnecTo module)
  4. Organisations can integrate these modules with their LMS systems in order to track participant engagement and completion rates.

The e-modules will be available as SCORM files for Meaningful Ageing Australia members via the Member's Zone of the website. There are two versions of each e-module, a full version, and a slightly abridged version for carers.
