Event Details

Geoffrey Bell (1944-2008) was an important figure in the development of the disability rights movement in Australia, advocating for self-determination, independence, and equality for people with disabilities. The Geoffrey Bell Collection documents the social and political history of the disability rights movement in Australia.

The Scope-University of Melbourne Partnership in collaboration with the University of Melbourne Archives is pleased to announce the launch of the Geoffrey Bell Collection. The Collection is a useful resource for researchers interested in the history of the disability rights movement in Australia and may prove a useful aid for future debates and discussions on disability rights issues.

We hope that you can join us for the launch of this important collection.
