Description

Young Australian guitarrist Andrew Blanch will perform a repertoire of works by composers from Brazil (Heitor Villa-Lobos, Raphael Rabello), Paraguay (Agustín Barrios Mangoré), Venezuela (Vicente Emilio Sojo, Benito Canónico), and Spain (Francisco Tárrega, Manuel de Falla). Blanch has a Bachelor of Music from ANU, and is currently undertaking his PhD. Andrew has been trained by masters including Timothy Kain and Minh Le Hoang. His first CD, 'Spanish Guitar Music' received unanimous praise from specialist critics.
