Late Night Library: Nasty
Thu. 20 July 2017, 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm AEST
For our second Late Night Library series in 2017, we’re teaming with Sydney-based curator-producers Roxzan Bowes and Brendan O’Connell to present five unique and immersive performance experiences at Kings Cross Library.
Nasty is a light-hearted lo-fi romp through the history of wicked women, by the original nasty grrl herself. Join Medusa, everyone's favourite mythological snake-headed, man-destroying, terror-inducing she-beast for a dark and delightful evening of songs, laughs and good times!
This is a brand new absurdist, feminist, historical cabaret comedy by Sydney-based artist Sabrina D’Angelo, incorporating body poetry, puppetry, music and song. Sabrina has a Master of Puppetry from the Victorian College of the Arts, and has created work for presentation at Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe. This year she is also a participant in Belvoir’s inaugural Artist Workshop program.
This series of Late Night Library is produced by City of Sydney, and presented in collaboration with Roxzan Bowes and Brendan O’Connell.
Late Night Library usually books out, avoid disappointment and book your ticket.
