A well written application can make a huge difference to your chances when it comes to accessing grants - but applying can be daunting if you haven’t had much experience.
To help people make the most of grant opportunities – including the Australian Government-funded Restocking, Replanting and On-Farm Infrastructure grant and other community and business grants that support the region’s ongoing recovery from the 2019 event - the National Drought and North Queensland Flood Response and Recovery Agency is working with councils to host grant writing workshops through North East and North West Queensland.
This free workshop will help you better understand what grants are available for landowners (such as NRM grants), what’s needed in a grant application and how you can increase your chances of success. One-on-one support will also be available after the workshop so you can hone your skills.
You're also welcome to bring along a draft application or a previous unsuccessful application to get some tailored feedback and advice.
