LAND-WATER-TIME is a formal CPD presentation best suited to landscape architects and architects interested in learning more about the design considerations for outdoor illumination.

This seminar has the purpose to stimulate and share the many different rules and approaches in design and to identify the main techniques to obtain a desired lighting solution.

It will answer these questions:

1. How to approach a LANDscape project on the basis of the different shape/behaviour/design of the nature itself?
2. How to approach a space containing WATER from swimming pools, natural lakes, wellness & spa areas?
3. How to approach designing a historical building with TIME at its core

The CPD presentation will be followed by a product showcase where the newest SIMES products exhibited at EUROLUCE 2017 in Milan this April will be presented.

Expect to see the SIMES range of Primary Geometries, Material Expressions and a whole lot more…

In 2012 Eagle Lighting Australia celebrated 40 years of existence. Over this period the most significant change to ELA was our acquisition by the Fagerhult Group in 2007.

Fagerhult is the third largest lighting company in Europe (and the largest in the Nordic region). This change brought unprecedented access to a global network of suppliers, products and knowledge; resources advantageous to ourselves and our customers in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2009, ELA moved its administration, production and distribution into a purpose-built facility at Melbourne Airport. The new administration office doubles as a showroom where we can showcase luminaires in a real working office, demonstrating the effect lighting has on staff and their environment.

We have established a world-class manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art machinery, that is now the cornerstone of our business, whereby we can manufacture, import and distribute orders throughout Australasia.

Currently, we employ over 110 staff across Australasia, nearly doubling in size over the last five years. Our growth has been impressive, yet we are not content to rest on our laurels.

Through the combined abilities of our richly diverse and knowledgeable staff, Eagle Lighting Australia will continue to provide innovative and affordable lighting solutions to the marketplace deep into the 21st century.
