Land Restoration Fund 2020 Investment Round Workshop - Bundaberg
Event Information
About this Event
The Queensland Government has partnered with the Queensland Farmers Federation to deliver a series of workshops across the state to help landholders apply for the Queensland Government’s Land Restoration Fund.
At the workshops, specialists from government, industry and the carbon farming sector will explain the application process and provide information on the first investment round so attendees can start putting together applications for carbon farming projects in Queensland.
Guest speakers and presenters will be available to speak one-on-one to attendees after each workshop.
Key outcomes:
- find out more about carbon farming and how it will provide new, diversified income streams while restoring soils and vegetations
- find out how you can develop a carbon farming project that will work alongside their existing operations
- meet industry experts who can provide information specific to their properties, businesses and applications
- learn about the Land Restoration Fund, including investment round details, the application process, the governments support package and how you can seek further help.
These workshops are also a great opportunity to make connections with other interested landowners to collaborate on potential partnerships/projects.
Registrations will open at 8:30am with a starting time of 9am so please ensure you arrive early.
