Event description

Description

The Kumano Kodo is a challenging but stunning pilgrimage trail in the Kii mountains in Japan.

The trail is steeped in history, culture and spiritual connection offering challenging days of trekking and the unique experience of traditional Japanese homestay along the way.

For those who have also completed the Camino de Santiago this is your chance to find out how you can gain dual pilgrimage status for completing both journeys.

Big Heart Adventures is stoked to share an evening of Kumano Kodo experiences with you and a chance to trek with us in 2019!

Practical and honest advice on equipment and gear, guided vs self guided, how to train (particularly in our Adelaide Hills!) and insights into Japanese culture that will enhance your experience of not just the trail but your time in Japan.

Are you ready for the challenge?

**Please note the information session specific to the Kumano Kodo will start closer to 8pm as this is a shared Info Night for our Kokoda trip in 2019 too**
