Mon. 8 May 2017, 4:30 pm – 7:20 pm AEST
Green and smart cities has been one of the desirable approaches in contemporary urban planning practice. Korean urban development has been highly influenced by strong ICT and recent technological evolution. Also, recently there is increasing interest in green public spaces as seen in the restoration of the Cheonggye Stream.
There has been dynamic changes in modern Korean cities in terms of population, the use of public space and urban strategies for liveable and sustainable cities. Korean cities have different development paths from Australian cities. This forum will be a great opportunity to find out alternative strategies.
