Event description

Description

Kombucha is a fermented probiotic drink known for its gut healing properties and overall health benefits. We've been serving it on tap in store and have had lots of interest from people wanting to learn how to make it at home.

Join us on 27 September at 6.30pm for a two-hour workshop with Jacqui Kirkland from Grateful Harvest.

You'll get an introduction to fermented drinks including Kombucha and Kefir and you'll learn hands on how to start brewing your own Kombucha. Walk away with a flavoured bottle of Kombucha as well as a starter kit which includes 'the mother' SCOBY to get you brewing at home.

About Jacqui Kirkland

Jacqui is the founder of Grateful Harvest, a Melbourne based company specialised in brewing traditional Kombucha and supplying retail outlets and Farmers Markets across Melbourne with Kombucha on tap. As a passionate advocate for whole foods, she has a love of sharing knowledge and empowering others to take charge of their own food journey.
