Kokedama Workshop
Event Information
About this event
At Eden Gardens we are fascinated by Kokedamas. Translated Kokedama means “moss ball”. The art of binding plants into mossy orbs dates back centuries to the Edo Era in Japan. These mystical moss balls that contain live growing plants, add opulence and simplicity to any home.
Join Eden staff to learn the art of Kokedama. In this all-inclusive class you will create your own Kokedama from a plant of your choosing to take home and learn best practices for care and upkeep to ensure your moss ball stays looking beautiful for years to come.
We are so excited to have workshops up and running again and are doing everything we can to make workshops as safe as possible. Workshops will be run outside in the gardens (weather permitting), all equipment thoroughly sanitised or washed and social distancing measures in place. We have reduced the numbers of participants in each session but if you have multiple people from the same household please let us know and we can make adjustments accordingly.
If you would like a private session or custom workshop or event at Eden or elsewhere please email info@edengardens.com.au and we would be more than happy to organise this for you.
Please just bring your wonderful selves as all supplies and equipment are provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own gloves and we encourage wearing masks to our workshops.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
