Event description

Description

Kokedama is a style of Japanese bonsai. It’s name can be loosely translated into English – koke meaning “moss” and dama meaning “ball”.

Kokedama make great gifts for friends over the Christmas period. Join us in our workshop to get a head start on a special homemade gift for friends and family, you will learn to make 2 “moss balls” one large and one small, learning how to wrap the plants root system and bind them with string transforming them into sculptural art forms to take home.

All plants and materials will be provided together with small bowls to display your kokedama. Light refreshments and beverages from local businesses will also be provided.
