Join local crafter Akemi in a hands on workshop making traditional Japanese kokedama plant balls with moss, soil and twine. You can make two balls – one with a succulent and the other with an indoor plant. Please wear covered comfortable shoes and bring an apron and your own gloves if you are allergic to latex gloves. You may spend a lot of time standing to create your kokedama! Bring coloured string if you wish to decorate your ball – jute, cotton and fishing string will be provided at the workshop. Bring a container in which to transport your kokedama home.
