After the NSW fires, it is critical that we plan for the future protection of our koalas. Learn how the Blue Mountains is a source of hope.

About this Event

With the recent catastrophic bushfires compounding threats to koalas, we must plan for their future protection. Join Dr Kellie Leigh from Science for Wildlife, an expert in koala conservation, to find out more about the dangers facing Australia's best loved species and how the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area is providing a source of hope for a future for koalas under climate change.

When: Sunday 8 December, from 7pm.

7.00pm - arrival and your chance to meet and have a photo with a koala, and mingle.

7.30pm – 8.30pm – Talk and Q&A with our expert from the field, Dr Leigh

Where: WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, 1-5 Wheat Road, Sydney. Rooftop, next to the koala exhibit.

Entry is free but please register as seats are limited for this event.
