Event description
Have you got a small business idea and struggle to work out if your idea has commercial potential? Not sure which tools to use to do so?

About this Event

The financial assessment of your small business idea can be confusing and if you don’t know your numbers it is hard to assess the commercial feasibility of your business idea. Yet it is such an important part of your evaluation overall.

In this 2-hour workshop, Jane Clark, Financial Adviser from Jane Clark Financial Management, will provide you with an overview of the most important aspects you should look at as part of doing your numbers and assessing the commercial feasibility of your business idea. She will show you tools to use, whilst also using examples. You will learn important aspects such as:

• How to set a business budget

• How to work out your business costs

• How to set your personal budget so you know how much you need to survive

• How to set a marketing budget and tracking how effective your marketing is

• What a break-even analysis is and why it is important to do one

• How to go about pricing strategies for your small business idea

• Profit and Loss statements, what they are, and why they are important

If the event is booked out and you are still keen to attend or you have any further questions - please contact Daniela Schurink-Moeller from Business South on 0455 372 023 or e-mail Daniela@businesssouth.org.au
