Event description

Description

Catalyst Foundation is the leading provider of community information in South Australia focussing in areas such as home support, aged care services, disability, housing, independent living, digital literacy, retirement living and connecting people to services. Our core theme across our organisation is People helping people. For 23 years we have and continue to be an organisation that is about and for people and our work resonates with the goals and objectives of our belief that people from all walks of life, service providers, families and carers have access to the information and services they need to make informed choices in this changing world.

The goal of our symposium is to provide a forum for the LGBTIQ community in SA to learn about the new changes to legislation in the areas of Births, deaths and marriages (Gender Identity) Amendment Bill 2016, Relationships Register, Adoption & IVF Treatments.

Catalyst Foundation is partnering with key agencies and bringing together an information packed day. The attendees will have an opportunity to hear and question some of SA’s leading experts on these subjects. The day will also include comprehensive information on the changes to the aged care and disability sector for older LGBTIQ people.
