Sat 24th 10.30 am - 3.30 pm All Day Hard Easy Cheesy Making Workshop:

You'll learn how to make Hard Cheeses, those that need rennet added, like Cheddar, Butter Kase, easy Camembert, Feta and Neufchatel plus a Scandanavian whey cheese, using equipment you'll already have in your kitchen at home. Morning and afternoon tea are included so we can taste all those yummy cheeses. E-book handouts are available online with your booking. I will also have cheese cultures available for sale at the end of the class along with my cheese making video and books.

Sun 25th 9.30am - 12.30pm Beyond Sourdough Bread: All Things Sourdough Workshop

Do you have a gluten issue? Are you told to avoid grains because of the gluten doing damage to your gut health? Gluten is a tough protein to digest and over the years it can cause our gut wall to become inflamed and damaged creating a permeable or leaky gut. Gluten can be a compromise for our health and this is why there are so many gluten free products on the market today. So why not try your hand at making your own sourdough versions of bread, fruit loaf, cake, pasta, wraps, pizza base and crackers!

This three hour workshop will create all these sourdough goodies with particpants volunteering to take the steps from A to Z. Everyone has their own sourdough to take home including some sourdough starter. Plenty of taste testing for everyone and e-handouts with all the recipes and instructions will be emailed to you.

Sun 25th 1.30pm - 4.30pm Miso Tempeh and Soy Sauce Workshop

Learn how to make your own gorgeous health giving old fashioned miso with no special equipment needed. Also included will be the making of modern miso and tempeh. Soy sauce will also be partially covered. These traditionally fermented soy products are the only way to consume this contentious bean and they are sooo delicious!

Participants will be learning how to make these ferments through demonstration and participation. Includes: E-Handouts with recipes and taste testing of all foods and beverages that we make.
