Winter is the perfect time to get started on fermentation. Join us in store for a two-hour workshop with Fitzroy local Sharon Flynn.

You'll learn the basics of fermentation and how to make Kimchi at home. BYO jar - be sustainable and dig up a glass jar from your pantry, or buy one from Sharon on the day.

About Sharon Flynn

Accidental entrepreneur Sharon Flynn founded The Fermentary, an award winning fermented food and drinks company based in Daylesford, VIC. Sharon’s passion for natural fermentations began many years ago, and strengthened across her travels through Japan, the USA and Denmark; but it wasn't until her 5 year old daughter fell ill and endured several rounds of antibiotics that Sharon put all her knowledge together to nurse her little gut back to health. Upon her return to Australia, she continued to make fermented food and drinks for family and friends, which spurred on the creation of The Fermentary.
