Welcome to The Beach Studio, where art is all about having fun, letting go and going with the flow! Our art sessions adopt a step-by-step style approach to painting, so noone gets left behind.All classes are run on a casual basis so there are no lock-in term bookings.Check out our sessions below:Saturday weekly kids’ art classes(for ages 5-12)KIDS+BIG KIDS sessions(for ages 5-105)Monthly-ish ART+WINE+BEACH sessions(18+ sip and paint)My name is Julia Blanka and I developed The Beach Studio because I love art, working with children and the beach. I have previous experience working in children’s art programs at the Guggenheim Museum in New York as well as the Adelaide Festival and running the Zhu-Lin Buddhist Temple kids’ art program.I enjoy exploring peoples’ creative potential whilst teaching them valuable technical skills. I believe creativity should be nourished and encouraged. My mantra is that there is no right or wrong in art, just an imagination that needs to be set free, explored and appreciated. That's where art is made!As a child, I was a student of the Ruth Tuck Art School, later completing a Bachelor of Graphic Design from the University of South Australia and then updated my drawing skills at the New York Studio School. In my 'day job', I work in graphic design and marketing.I have a current police check and a working with children certificate.
