July 2017 School Holiday Program: Celebrating NAIDOC Week

Inspired by NAIDOC Week 2017’s theme “Our Languages Matter,” this July the South Australian Museum is celebrating and exploring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander languages and culture.


Kids’ tours: language, play and learning in our collections

Tuesday - Friday, 11am and 1pm

Bookings essential

Ages: 5-12

Location: Meet in the Main foyer

The South Australian Museum has the most extensive collection of Aboriginal objects in the world. Join the Museum’s Humanities team to find out more about our Aboriginal Cultures Gallery and about cultures from Warlpiri in the NT to Kaurna in SA.



Please note: Adults attend with their children but do not need to purchase a ticket. You do not need to bring a physical ticket as our staff will have a list of names on the day.
