SONGWRITING WORKSHOP FOR KIDS

Local singer/songwriter Kat O from the band The Kat O Army leads this fun song writing workshop for kids which will include working on lyrics and rhymes, vocal melody, music and ideas about what can inspire a song.

Kat O has been writing songs for many years and has had one of her original compositions in an American TV show made for Disney in 2010. Besides writing songs for her rock band The Kat O Army, she also dabbles in writing children’s songs. Kat also runs the family-friendly Music Mamas showcases where female singer/songwriters perform.
