Description

The Ipswich Enviroplan Photographic Competition is open for entries from 5 June 2017 (World Environment Day).
Learn how to expose the majesty of Ipswich’s natural landscapes and native inhabitants through the lens of a camera.
Talitha Rice will guide student photographers (ages 12 - 17) through how to make the most of their camera and subjects.

You will learn how to use your SLR camera in manual modes, how to photograph with natural light and how to take the best shot in different situations.

What to bring?

  • Camera –SLR essential 
  • Memory card(s) 
  • Camera owner’s manual – Important!
  • Fully-charged battery (plus spare if you have one)
  • Comfortable walking shoes (closed over shoes)
  • Long pants and long sleeved shirts (walking through park)
  • Drinking water
  • Hat

Children must be actively supervised at all times.


The "fine print":
  • Bookings are only required for children’s places. Adults do not need to book tickets.
  • If you book a place and are unable to attend, please contact Council on (07) 3810 6666 or enviroed@ipswich.qld.gov.au to free up your place to those who may be waiting.
  • Waitlist tickets free up as little as a few hours before the event. Please use an email address that is checked regularly.
